DUAL SENSOR INPUT AND OUTPUT: The two most common bioprocess measurements, pH and DO, are now combined in one compact low profile instrument that takes up half the space of most other transmitters. The Model 30 accommodates independent dual inputs and outputs which allows the user to monitor two sensor measurements simultaneously. The two 0/4–20 mA outputs can be independently programmed to correspond to any selected measurement or temperature.

ENHANCED DUAL DISPLAY: There are several different display options available, but the most useful is the one that shows both pH and DO at the same time. The Model 30 features an easy-to-use, intuitive menu that makes advanced programming and calibration simple. On-screen full text and phrase prompting does away with cryptic mnemonic based instrument displays. Easy to incorporate into your Standard Operating Procedures.

ONE- OR TWO-POINT CALIBRATION: Both two- and one-point calibrations are easily performed with the Model 30. Easy one point recalibration while the instrument is on-line makes adjustment after grab sample analysis quick and simple.

INTERNATIONAL STANDARDIZATION: The menu screens are simple, clear, and use plain language prompts in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The two-line, 16-character, back-lit display can be customized to meet installation requirements.

SAVE SPACE AND MONEY: The Model 30 has twice the features at half the price of traditional analyzers. It can be configured to fulfill one of three roles on the production floor; single input pH, single input DO, or dual input pH and DO. One instrument is all you need.

PANEL OR PIPE MOUNT ENCLOSURES: The panel mount version fits standard 1/2 DIN panel cutouts, and its shallow depth is ideally suited for easy mounting in Hoffman-type enclosures. A panel mount gasket is included to maintain the weather rating of the panel. A wall/pipe mount version includes self-tapping screws for surface mounting. A pipe mounting accessory kit is available for mounting to a 2-inch pipe.

Model 30 pH/DO Dual Transmitter Specifications

Input: Dual input. Solution ground and sensor interrogation capabilities. No separate preamp required. Accepts nA input from polarographic DO sensor. Uses industry standard 22K temperature compensator.

Output: Two isolated 0/4–20 mA outputs. Can be displayed in either mA or percent.

Calibration and Measurement: Measuring range is 0 to 14 pH. Single- or multiple-point calibration with auto buffer recognition. Will accept manual input of process pressure in mm Hg, inches Hg or bar. Measures partial pressure of oxygen and displays it as % saturation or ppm. Can set the zero point electronically or with inert gas.

Serial Communication: None.

Relays: Three programmable relays, activated according to setpoints. Each handles up to 5 amps.

Security: Option to set a passcode allowing “read only” or full access to all functions: Calibrate, Program and Display.

Configuration: Clear alphanumeric display with text prompts. User selectable automatic and manual temperature compensation. Easy to configure and program.

Physical Characteristics: Two-line, 16-character, back-lit LCD display. NEMA 4X (IP65) housing, weatherproof and corrosion resistant. CE approved.

Mounting Hardware: Available in either pipe or panel mount versions. Cable grips not included.
